Electronic Timers & Counters
Electronic timers and counters display digital values and can be totalising or operate to preset values which trip an output, alarm or in some cases a colour change. They are generally panel mount devices requiring an independent DC or AC power supply. Some products operate using an internal long-life lithium battery and these are shown seperately on this site.
Range Overview
We have selected 7 models which will satisfy the most common industrial and automation requrements for displaying count values, time, or variations such as speed or rate. The size of the display and the number of digits are often the main criteria determining which product to choose. Variants within each model may include LCD/LED display options, supply voltage options and different available functions. In some cases a specific part number is needed for a particular function, for example the 735 time counter can only be a time counter. In other examples the device is multi-purpose and the function is selected using push-button menu on the front face. The range shown here includes display digit heights from 4mm (the low cost ones shown at the bottom of this page) to 18.5mm.
48 x 24mm 6/8 Digit LED/LCD 731 Series. 7mm digit height.
A small low cost range with 12-24VDC or lithium battery power. The 8 digit versions are LCD, with numeric count and timer counter options. The 6 digit versions are LED in 12-24VDC only. Manual or external reset. Normally used to show totals without any preset or alarm.
48 x 48mm 6 Digit LED/LCD 732 Series. 7.6mm (LED), 9mm (LCD) digit height.
Choose from 6 models each with different supply voltage options (DC & AC). The models vary according to the number of presets required ie none, 1 or 2. This is a multifunction bi-directional counter, which can be used as basic counter, tacho, time, shift or batch counter.

Introduced in 2010 this is the most versatile electronic multi-function counter in our range. 3 models to choose from according to the number of relay outputs required (0, 1 or 2) and each is available in 4 power supply options.
72 x 36mm 8 Digit LCD 734 Series. 12mm digit height.
Choose from 10 models according to the particular function required, such as preset counter or preset timer. Uses a lithium battery to operate and an independent DC supply for backlighting.
96 x 48mm 6 Digit LED 735 Series. 18.5mm dual colour digit height.
Choose from 8 models each with different output variants and power supply options. One of the largest standard industrial display devices for panel mounting. Can be a totaliser, a time counter, a tacho etc. A unique feature of this product is being able to change digit colour at preset values.
Small Low Cost Electrical Counters
634 Series. 6 Digit Counters. 4mm high visual digits. DC Power Supply
A range of 6 digit non-resettable totalising counters for either PCB or panel mounting with 5VDC, 12VDC, or 24VDC supply. These have high immunity against magnetic interference.
635 Series. 6 Digit Counters. 4mm high visual digits. AC Power Supply
Choose from 3 versions of these 6 digit non-resettable totalising counters, 24VAC, 115VAC or 230VAC. Panel mounting. These have high shock stability.
