Kuhnke Digital Pneumatic Timers (53 Series)
This range of pneumatic digital timers is based on a standard predetermining mechanical counter. Time is measured by the application of compressed air to create an internal pneumatic pulse every second or every minute. Time elapsed is then displayed as a count in either a 3 digit or a 5 digit display. Either minutes or seconds are displayed according to the model selected.
The 53 series digital timer then acts like a pre-set (or pre-determining) counter. Connect a control air supply to port Z and input/output air to ports P and A.
There are 2 displays. One is the pre-set, which is input using the push buttons on the front. The second display shows time elapsed, all seconds or all minutes according to model. When time elapsed matches the pre-set value, the normally closed internal valve switches to open, and a continuous pneumatic output is achieved. Re-set is either manual by push button, or by a pneumatic pulse to port Y. The two 5 digit models are also available with automatic reset.
