Hengstler 735A Series
This one design of indicator with 5 large digits (18.5mm high LED, programmable all green and all red) is available in two forms.
The 735A described here is the analogue value indicator, whilst the 735P pulse indicator used as a counter or timer can be found in the electronic timer and counter section of this site. The Hengstler 735A can be supplied as a temperature indicator, DC process indicator, mV or mA, AC or DC indicator, or as a remote display.
Standard outputs are 2 x NPN plus single C/O relay. Additional 2nd relay and linear output options are avaliable.
Features
- Large 5 digit display, 18.5mm high LED
- Display programmable to change red/green
- 4 easy keys for programming and manual reset
- Alarm indication/output status display
- Universal high voltage (90-264VAC) or low voltage (20-50VAC/DC)
- Temperature controller
- DC process controller
- Strain gauge
- AC and DC Volt/Amps controller
- Linear output RS485 interface options
- Very uesful for alarm pre-warning (colour change) and then output at 2nd setting.
Part number explanation.The different variations of 735A series indicators are coded into the part number which is made up of the prefix 0735A and 5 digits. We have shown them here in the headings A to F. Note that not every possible combination is available.
| A | B | C | D | E | F |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0735A | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 2 | 1 | 3 | 5 | 2 | |

A = Design Series, in this case all 0735A
B = Function: 1 = Temperature, 2 = DC Process, 3 = AC Volt/Ampere, 5 = DC Volt/Ampere, 7 = Remote Display
C = Output Relay 2 : 0 = none, 1 = with 2nd relay
D = Linear output: 0 = none, 3 = with 4-20mA
E = Interface: 0 = none, 5 = RS485, 6 = Digital input
F = Power supply: 0 = 90-264V AC, 2 = 20-50V AC or 22-55V DC
